Russian fans – my newest Russian translation, УКРОЩЕНИЕ КОРОЛЕВЫ (The Taming of the Queen) is out from Издательство Эксмо. It tells the story of Kateryn Parr, sixth queen of King Henry VIII and a groundbreaking English female author. I like that Эксмо have represented her wearing her predecessor Queen Katherine Howard's furs on the cover. Henry executed Katherine Howard the year before marrying Kateryn Parr, and I imagine Katherine's fate will have haunted her successor.
